About

Meet Carla McCullough, RMHCI

Carla McCullough is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, empathy, and professionalism. She believes that you are the expert of your own life—you may simply need the right support, tools, and guidance to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional wellness. Carla’s approach is person-centered, supportive, and goal-oriented, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and emotionally supported while working toward meaningful growth, healing, and lasting change. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), positive psychology, and practical coping strategies, Carla helps clients develop healthier thought patterns, strengthen boundaries, improve emotional wellness, build self-worth, and navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and confidence. At MindShift Counseling Oasis, LLC, Carla believes that when your mindset shifts, everything else can too. Beyond her clinical training, Carla’s background in ministry, leadership, music, and community engagement has deepened her ability to connect compassionately with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. For more than 30 years, she has provided empathetic support and compassionate listening to individuals facing emotional and personal hardships. In recent years, she has expanded those natural gifts through formal counseling education, clinical training, and hands-on therapeutic experience. “My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and equipped with the tools needed to create lasting change.” – Carla McCullough, RMHCI
